My favorite photo from Tasmania. I woke up at 3:30am, drove for an hour to the Tasman Peninsula, hiked for two hours in the dark and rain, hoping to catch a beautiful sunrise. The clouds parted just as the sun rose above the top of Cape Hauy, giving me one of the most jaw dropping sunrises of my life. Landscape photography is a gamble, and that morning, I couldn’t have asked for a luckier shot.
